My take away from the mini lecture:
One thing that really resonated with me was the sheer impact that youth-adult partnerships have on not only the youth but the adults as well. The words that Victoria emphasized were "mutually transformative" and I think that the idea that these partnerships can be mutually transformative is very important. Not only can these partnerships heal youth, but they can heal adults as well. I really liked learning more about these partnerships and helped me to better understand the reading!

This is great. This mini-lecture helped me think about the way Youth have adults on their side for support. Although adults can be caring to youth, Youth are also working hard to create change and become leaders, which is why I think Adults must listen to youth and let them express their own ideas/experiences to see how they help grow their society. Something that I liked from this post was the way you talked about Youth-Adult partnerships as you mentioned, "Not only can these partnerships heal youth, but they can heal adults as well". If youth do something good and help adults, not only does it increase the knowledge of Youth, but also the knowledge of adults . Youth are becoming leaders, but at the same time, adults know who youth are and advocate with them while letting them be active and making change in out environment.
